Rosewood Mansion at Turtle Creek

The Rosewood Mansion at Turtle Creek is a gem. Breathtaking service, a mere Michelin quality restaurant with wine pairings, a historical mystery to be explored… this hotel is striking, stunning, and the perfect place to dine, stay, and enjoy the luxe side of Dallas.

Let’s get into the history. The estate was first constructed in the early 1920’s and then in 1925 the manor was complete. We’re talking touches of 16th century Renaissance Italy with irnate interior décor inspired by grand estates in Spain, Italy, England, France and elsewhere. I mean, c’mon. The fact that there are so many original finishes and materials is just a small testament to the insane quality that is not only timeless, but bleeds history at every corner.

More history!

The palatial estate has hosted countless society parties; the unique center for high society Dallas. They’ve hosted famous guests like President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Tennessee Williams. In 1979 they added a second building with 143 guest rooms, all laden with ideas and touches that reflect the original vibe. They focus on projecting art, design, luxury, and the marble floors & stained glass windows tell the whole story in their vibrance.

A majestic escape.

To be honest, we were treated like a king and queen. This place is a dream!
